Situated just a few miles from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and James Monroe’s Ashlawn-Highland, Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA follows Jefferson’s footsteps in making new world wines inspired by the French wine regions of Bordeaux and Champagne. Terroir is a French term that denotes the special characteristics a certain place’s geography, geology and climate bestow upon wine grapes. Our estate vineyards were planted on the foothills of Carter’s Mountain, tucked within the heart of the Monticello AVA. With an elevation range between 600 and 1,000 feet, high density plantings, and an emphasis on sustainable practices, we craft three distinguished wine programs: sparkling, white and red.
Featuring over 1,000 acres of breathtaking scenery, Trump Winery is situated in the heart of the Monticello Wine Trail in Charlottesville, Virginia.
