EventZone, a non-profit organization and the Valley's "Event and Festival Connection," proudly presents seventeen weeks of "People You Know & Music You Love" at the Valley's Thursday Night Dance Party! Fun for all ages!
With the support of our new Title Sponsor, the Bank of Fincastle, as well as Blue Ridge Beverage, and a host of other businesses and local residents, Party in the Park will start its fourth season in 2016 on May 12. Our mission continues to be a community partner, to support local non-profit organizations and businesses, and to promote the arts in the area, especially with our Scholarship for the Arts program.
UBU
Like most bands that fit the expectations of Country Club Functions, Private Parties,Fairs, Festivals and Corporate Events, U.B.U., THE BAND performs a wide variety of music for all age groups. In addition to this THE BAND proudly boast five very talented vocalists. U.B.U. incorporates top of the line choreography into it's shows and wardrobe consists of many costume changes in a single evening.
THE BAND is one of the most personable groups that you will ever meet and they pride themselves on being able to adapt to any situation that should occur. THE BAND, collectively, has over 75 years of on-stage experience!
An Evening With U.B.U.
On any given evening you may hear the soft sounds of Dinner Music leading up to the sounds of The Drifters, The Temtations, The Tams, The Embers, The Showman, as-well-as Celine Dion, Patsy Cline, Delbert McClinton, Wilson Pickett, Bob Seger, KC and The Sunshine Band, Sarah McLachlan, Sam Cook, Bobby Brown, The Spice Girls and The Village People to mention a few. Given enough notice special request may also be performed.
Just to speak of the diversity of the group is one thing: To see it for yourself is another!
